 Amy Polan Clarke, Director of Operations Amy Polan Clarke is an entertainment industry veteran with over thirty years experience in touring, live event production, operations and business management. In her position as Senior Vice President of Touring for Metropolitan Entertainment, Amy was responsible for booking and administrating multi-million dollar national concert tours, working with a range of artists that included Whitney Houston, Sarah Brightman and the Grateful Dead with whom she maintained a 20-plus year relationship. In addition, Amy served as Operations Manager for Entourage Talent Associates where she coordinated all activities of the agency while acting as liaison among promoters, artist managers and tour personnel. Amy's interest in the theatrical business was piqued while working with producer David Foster as the Associate General Manager on the Australian comedy Puppetry of the Penis which toured North America for several years. Her operational and touring expertise was applied to strategizing touring plans, negotiating with venues and buyers, coordinating marketing campaigns, and handling all fiscal management for the tour. The relationships Amy formed in her years as a Tour Accountant / Tour Manager and the practical experience acquired from being on the road are serving her well at On The Road.
